1-Design and build my dream house.
2-Start my own business buying, remodeling, and flipping houses.
3-Go shopping in NYC or Paris, instead of Target and Kohl's!
4-Give it to people I love that really need it (I would do that first, of course!) :)

1-Anywhere that Brad and Nick are.
2-With my mom and dad and siblings and nephews.
3-In St.Mark's hospital on October 6th, 2005; I could happily re-live the moment Nick was born a million times.

1-I hate fruits and vegetables, but I eat them anyway.
2-I'm private by nature; I would much rather listen than talk.

#1 Daddy

I am constantly amazed by how much Nick loves, adores, and worships Brad! He wants to do everything he does, and when Brad is there, Nick won't pay attention to anyone else. Luckily, Brad feels the same way about Nick! These boys are definitley two peas in a pod! I joke that hopefully the next kid will like me, 'cause Nick wants Brad for everything. I'm so thankful that Brad loves being a dad and is so wonderful at it! I'm one lucky girl!

Picture 1: A few Sundays ago, Nick saw Brad putting his tie on and immediately started saying, "My turn, my turn!" He looked so cute with it on, I had to take a picture. Nick wants to copy everything Brad does!

Picture #2: We have a little play tent that Brad sets up for Nick. Last Friday night, Nick put absolutely everything he could fit in it: a basketball, a kickball, his chair, 7 pillows, 3 blankets, and oh yeah, BRAD! You can see a sliver of his face if you look closely!

Picture 3: "Racing" back to the car after a morning spent at the pumpkin patch. Brad makes a fun game out of everything. No wonder Nick loves him!


Picture #4: Brad helping Nick pet a bunny at a local farm. As soon as the bunny flinched, Nick freaked out and wanted nothing to do with it!

Ode to Daniel

I needed a little pick-me-up last night, so I started to write down all the things that I am thankful for. Towards the top of my list was my brother, Daniel. He moved out here with Brad and Nick and I around the middle of September, and I couldn't be happier about it! I keep telling him that I'm never going to let him go home! Nick
adores him (exclaims "Daniel!" every time he walks into a room), Brad is thrilled to have another guy around who loves sports as much as he does, and I can't get enough of his sense of humor, optimism, strength, and love of people and life. Sorry Mom and Dad, I'm keeping him!

Last week we all drove to Philly where we met my Mom and Mara and stayed with Tim and Kate. Daniel decided he needed a hair cut, or rather his head shaved, and Katie volunteered to do the job. She gave him a mohawk as a joke, and Daniel left it that way for a few days, much to my dismay. I made him put a hat on whenever he was going in public with me! :) Okay, not really. How I love my little bro!

The cheesy picture of him with the Book of Mormon, which I'm sure he appreciates me posting, was taken at my Grandma's just as he was finishing the service mission he served in SLC.
